749 Fitting A Garmin Zumo Sat Nav To A 2003 749

I've got a Garmin Zumo which I've hard wired to my ST3, but every now and again I do longer weekend trips on my 2003 749s where the sat nav would come in handy. I've tried it in my small Oxford tank bag in the clear top pocket but it sits so far back that makes it pointless, unless you want to stop every few minutes to look down.

I'm sure there must be a RAM mount solution which enables fitting of the unit that doesn't foul the screen/dash although.

Any ideas/thoughts/suggestions etc would be great especially with some pics.
