I’ve never done this before, always navigated by sun and moon but it’s about time to go modern and fit a mount and power connection for an iPhone. I don’t know where to start. I also got lost in Sheffield last week. Thanks
This is what I’m using, a Quadlock motorcycle mount with an added elbow joint, then a 12v socket with a twin usb plug in it. To be honest the 12v socket was already on the bike when I bought it so no idea how it’s wired in but I suspect someone will come along and advise on that? Now I know there is a lot of talk on the net about the quadlock and others damaging the optical image stabilisation in the phones camera, quadlock are working on a dampening attachment. From what I’ve seen it seems to affect the newer phones With multiple lenses more than the older ones, I’ve an iPhone 7. Not had any issues but not been using it long so time will tell?
