  1. Hi all,

just picked up termi cans, filter and ECU on eBay.

just looking for tips on swapping over the ECU on my 848. Do I need to disconnect the battery? Any other tips?

    cheers all.

  2. It's good practice to remove the earth lead from the battery.

A TPS reset would also be a good idea, but the bike will run without.

Is the ECU from an 848 EVO? If not you may get a MIL on the dash.

  3. As Chris says, it's always good practice to remove the negative battery connection.

When installing the new ECU, don't force it. There are a multitude of pins on those connectors, and it only takes one to get bent for you to be screwed.

  4. Cheers guys. The ecu is the correct one for my evo corse, so no need to re flash. How do you reset the TPS? Any special tools or equipment needed?

    thanks for the advice.

  5. You local friendly Ducati dealer will do it for you if you don't fancy it. It only takes 10 mins, should't cost the earth.
