For Sale - Ford Transit Connect Bike Transport Van

I usen this van as my main form of bike transport. But now they are gone, time for my van to go as well.

Transit Connect hi-roof long wheelbase T230 1.8 TDCi 90hp 155,800 miles, just been MoT’d-expires 5/8/21

I’ve had it for 4 years and only done 13,000 miles. But it’s been looked after, serviced & MoT’d each year by a mechanic I have known for a long time and trust. I have various receipts for all work done totalling £1,809.90!

When I first got it I bought a completely new set of alloys and tyres as 2 of the alloys on it were found to be damaged/repaired.

I also fitted the folding guard cage which is a brilliant piece of Ford design. This enables longer loads (like my 1199 Panigale) to steal some of the front passenger seat space.

I’m the 6th owner. 5th had it for 3 years & used it for his moto cross bikes and 4th used it for BMX racing. So it’s had an easy life and not been full of bricks, mortar and cement mixers!

Cambelt was changed at 115k miles by the previous owner.

The paintwork is not the prettiest and the tow bar electrical connector is broken and needs replacing.

Other than that it drives fine and will sit at 80-90 on the motorway no problem. I’ve travelled all over the UK in this van and have just completed a 500 mile round trip.

This would make a great small, reliable van for someone starting up/running a small business or self-employed or like me, just transporting my track bike & kit.

Will be sad to see it go.
