  1. that's actually not a bad price , better if you offered £1200 and it was accepted.

  2. If I had that kind of money to spend on a toolbox I'd buy it. I don't, so I can't. One can dream...

  3. 1600-1700 + vat new maybe

  4. waste of money,

  5. seen lots of lads with them, one spanner per drawer.

  6. Easier just print and laminate a self adhesive sticker of your choice and put it on

  7. Some peolpe have more money thansense if they buy shit like this. Its just a place to hold your tools ffs. Can't see it making your bike faster or lighter or even, dare I say, easier to repair

  8. It dosent even come with a tax disc holder either!

  9. Don't see the problem myself , if you like your tools , it's nice to have a good tool-chest to put em in , there are other makes as good as Snap-on but that is a good price , and a decent bit of kit costs.
Do we seem to have some snobbery going on here, no one would accuse you of wasting your money if you spent £1000 on a set of rearsets .

  10. I'm sure they would :upyeah:

  11. Rearsets are max £100, anything over that is arty farty ironmongery. Expensive tool chests are something a sponsor buys, a company buys for it employees or a dim as fuck apprentice mechanic buys on the drip from the lovely bloke on the snap on van who says every tool is a must have.

Those ducati tool chests are good in one respect - they show a picture of a bike being ridden. Just to remind the owner what he should be doing with the bike

  12. I don't have enough tools to fill it lol

  13. Some people are lucky to have much more disposable income than I. If they want to spend it on things like this, fine. Its their money. If I had disposable income like others, I would. Wealthy people spending helps keep the economy ticking over. Is it justified to spend 26k on a 1199r or 19k on a 1199s when 16k will get an 1199. Or 11k will buy you a super bike just as good from someone else?

I don't like ducati's because they are expensive. I just like v twins. I also like italian motoring style. I also like RED. Its not always about money. Money is just a ticket to get stuff. If that stuff is what you want to get with that ticket then great.

  14. I can't see anything wrong with it, looks smart.
Whats wrong with a professional mechanic or even a tinkerer wanting a nice toolbox, to keep their kit organised.
It's like saying why buy a Ducati when a honda will do!! People like nice things.
At that price i'd say it was pretty cheap anyway.

  15. Dear Santa....

  16. Can't have been owned by a ducati rider, as it is described as 'having had very little use'.
Don't see the problem, if you like your bling and want 'the best' I have a few blue point tools serious quality

  17. the quality is superb, my box dates from the late 70s still very good condition.
