  3. I still haven’t ‘rebuilt’ the 1299 and all I did was remove the fairings! :poop::punch::joy::joy:

  4. Not really a surprise that a brand new race bike with a racer on board is faster than a normal bloke on old tech, smaller CC road bike who goes nowhere near the red line.

    Swap bikes and the racers would be quicker than the Jorno on a v2

  7. Tbh it was more the way the v2 pissed it in every straightline test.

    And not all racers are equal ;)

  10. Surprised by that. I found the 899/959/v2 to be pretty pedestrian in a straight line in bike terms.

    not to say it isn’t a good bike though. I’ve ridden 600’s that have outdragged baby panigales

  13. This is like someone comparing a 1098 against a V4 Panigale.
    Think it would be fair to compare a K8-K9 750 GSXR to an 848 Ducati.
    Nevertheless, the V2 seems to have a very usable grunt.
