Hi all ,I collected my bike today after leaving it into a well known Ducati mechanic from my area ,I got fork seals and dust covers ,I don't now much but when I got home I noticed the dust covers had like a spring clip going around them like in the photo is this normal as my old covers didn't have these ,and the ones I got fitted were ordered from my Ducati dealer ,
They are probably better than what was fitted before.........they keep the seal lip against the slider better, so there is less chance of cr*p getting inside. As to whether it's a genuine Ducati part, either close inspection or your mechanic will tell you, but either way I wouldn't let it bother you. AL
