Hi. I'm planning an oil change on the st4 forks. Had a look through the manual before ordering the oil [emoji85] Page 26 list of lubricants shell advance fork 7.5wt. Page 98 recommend oil showa ss08. These oils appear to be completely different in viscosity, the showa SS08 is compatible to a 15wt. Any advice would be welcomed. Many thanks broadie.
For what it's worth, when I changed the oil in my old ST4 I used Motul 10w and the improvement was significantly better in terms of ride and a small improvement in handling.

It firmed up the ride but not in a bad way. The forks appeared to soak the bumps up better and in a more controlled manner. It also gave a slightly more positive feel to the steering.
