I am looking for some Ohlins forks for a 998R project. There may be some 748R forks available. Can anyone confirm that they are the same please? Important aspects would be diameter at both yokes, length and caliper mount spacing. Thanks.
On the look out for a set myself ,748r and 998r are the same and are 56mm on the bottom yoke and 53mm on the top .
Same mate. Just look at the calliper mountings on the fork bottoms. If they are the thicker ones, you'll need 10mm offsets. The thinner ones use the 15mm offset discs. Don't know the reason behind this but some 996/8R came with 10 mm offsets. @Not Carl Fogarty has been through all of this. Ian
