Been looking forward to this, recorded it as I was watching Cucumber on 4, that has to be one of the funniest things I've seen in ages :Mooning:
I'm enjoying Fortitude You do have to watch without interruptions it requires your undivided attention
I'm enjoying Fortitude. Sometimes a slow-paced, atmospheric drama is just what you need. I'm waiting for it to get truly weird ... I guess I can't watch anything with that much snow in it and not expect it to turn into The Thing.
Ive given up a little with mini series....the last one I tried to watch was "the leftovers" - we got about 5 episodes in and all we established was some bloke went round shooting dogs, a cult in white smoked a lot.....and not much else...shit (didn't bother after that). It seems to be the American way - build it up, drag it out, and then play the spoons the rest of the way... 24 was the best series.
Ah, The Leftovers. I wanted to give up on it early on in the series but I was very glad I didn't. Utterly engrossing drama which got better and better. I never "got" 24. I found it tedious and the characters entirely uninteresting. Yeah, I know, I know.
But - you have to agree - 24 was full on from the first episode - must confess ive not watched the last few seasons....kids put a stop to that....
For me, 24 was full-on froth & bubble, it was just "noisy". Just my opinion though, there's no denying that it's given a lot of people a lot of pleasure.
I download stuff to watch on my tablet on the daily commute, and Fortitude was on my list. I've done Breaking Bad (3 times!) Sons of Anarchy, and currently on Season 6 of 24. I'll download Fortitude and give it a go, unless it really is that shite?
