Forty years ago today I got my first driving license, a little red book - remember them?

To mark the occasion scientists added a Leap second to the day. Since then I've owned 41 bikes (five of them were Ducatis), 9 cars and 3 houses. So if it's any comfort to you lot, the Multistrada is an old man's bike...
