Found Needle Rollers In Clutch!

  1. image.jpg Ok guys, trying to sort out an oil leak on my 907 which I think is clutch push rod seals, but when I took the clutch Pressure plate off resting on the hub nut was 3, 6.5mm x 1.5mm needle rollers. Are they from the hub bearing? And the big question....is it a motor strip to replace it?
    Cheers Keith.

  2. There is a small needle roller inside the gearbox mainshaft at the clutch end supporting the pushrod. The needles are most likely out of this. I've never had to replace one but I believe it isn't a big job.

  3. Great news, thanks Derek.

  4. And a penny too? That can go towards the new bearing :Wideyed:
