Hi, sorry haven't been on here for ages (life and work getting in the way!) but still have my 748 and 600ss. The fuel pump on the ss stopped working - have managed to swap that but found this in the tank. Can anyone shed any light on it (the metal bit was in the mesh). It looks like some sort of sacrificial anode but is that a thing in a fuel tank? Any advice appreciated. Thanks Neil
It’s not one of those fuel saver things is it? Almost looks like a fishing weight with that eye on it.
The equivalent of Snake Oil IMO, and claim to do everything from save fuel to add HP. There would normally be more than 1 lump of metal in them.
there was a chap at the stafford classic bike show selling them he claimed they stop your fuel going off i can't see how that would work
