Can anyone recommend some nice frame caps for my 749? Any ideas how many I will need? The ebay kits don't specify if they are for the whole bike or just for 1 side.
Tom I've just had a look,there dont seem to be any on ebay, only those shitty things from honk gong , the ones I'm talking about are the push fit ones . With these there is a larger oval one, these are the set you should go for imho.
Hi, I have these fitted to my 999s the place that used to sell the frame plugs for the 749 / 999 range was carbon-trader but when i last spoke to him he never had them on his web site. Sometimes depending on the thickness of the frame paint you may have to give them a little file down to make them fit. The oval one is quite hard to find, i bought mine from the internet but if i remember they were made by some manufacturing company whose owner had Ducati bikes. I've never seen the oval one for sale anywhere else so good luck. There must be someone still selling them.
I got these from a uk seller on ebay. I will look at my history and see who it was. excellent quality but I think he makes them in small batches consists of 2 round and 1 oval (both sides included lol)
