As previously posted, took Carole's 2011 Red for its MoT yesterday and the mechanic advised me to look at the front disc bobbins because the disc to disc brake balance was off. Just spent 20 minutes with a propriety brake cleaner aerosol, rag and WD40 to free every last one of the little buggers. Clearly over time brake dust and heat cycling clog up the bobbins which stops the small amount of movement designed in. At the same time took a quick look at the Multistrada and yup, every last bobbin is seized solid. Got to be common across the range that use the semi floating disc arrangement so I'd advise a quick look because the affect is the same as on a car when one side isn't working, it pulls to one side.
