ok are gt1000 discs the same as monster s4r discs, I offered the monster calliper up and they look like the disc needs to be in slightly further?
I switched to Marchesini 5-spoke wheels. Used a Monster axle & discs from a 749R. Retained the original GT1000 calipers. Don't know if 749R discs are the same as S4R discs though. Edit: Just remembered, had to use a spacer with the Monster axle.
Ok so looks like, the easiest option is to keep the gt calliper, otherwise machine down the s4r calliper
If you do machine the caliper it helps if your mates with a local cnc owner as it's a bit of trial and error ie take off as little as possible then try it in place etc .well worth the effort though . Also not sure but some four pot might need a master cylinder upgrade . Iv been told the 4 pot 4 pad set up may require the master cylinder replaced ( not sure) mine are 4 pot 2 pad, the braking is fantastic compared to the crappy standard set up . Iv also hel lines custom made and sbs pads .
