I have done a quick search but can't find any info on this so thought I'd ask here. A mate got T boned and his right fork leg hit the frame and put a small dent in it, which caused it to be a Cat B write off. Its a 2014 M821 and was in great condition prior to this, 14,500 miles FSH. I am pretty handy with a spanner so have offered to change the front frame which will allow it to be put back on the road. (He has bought a new frame with logbook.) I have had a quick look at it and it looks quite straight forward to do, but I would really appreciate advice from anyone on here who has done a similar project. Thanks in advance.
The worst bit of doing any frame change is removing and replacing the wiring loom. Plenty of images taken beforehand and during the strip are invaluable to help with getting it back in the right place and routing.
