Just wondering if anyone has run the stock V4 panigale headers without the metal heat shield? I have some headers without the shields and am not sure weather to fit them or wait to get some heat shields? Its a track only bike so i dont think heat should be a massive issue as i wont be sat static with the engine on for periods of time or in slo moving traffic but just wanted to know if anyone else had done it and if there were any issues at all? I know the Akra doesnt have a massive heat shield as that was removed from the bike. But they are a different shape and metal. Any advice would be appreciated. Suppose to be at Oulton next week and i have a few bits to put on the bike yet
