One thing that Signor Terblanche fell down on with the 749/999... Why is it necessary to remove the front wheel just to remove the front mudguard?? What a PITA!
Agreed Richard, bleeding ridiculous. However the biggest and most annoying Ducati design fault is the need to remove the whole back end of the 848/1098/1198 to replace the rear shock. A simple swage in the horizontal cross brace to facilitate the shocks removal would have been a simple and obvious inclusion.
I want to swap the cracked carbon mudguard off my road 749R with my track 749R one which is in perfect condition. The road R front end is in bits at the moment so I thought...easy job....NOT! First world problems...
