  1. Hi All

Could do with some help here. I have a Ducati Monster 696. Should there be much play on the front sprocket.

  2. Pretty normal with that sprocket retainer. Check that it hasn't worn. Best to replace the retainer with every sprocket change.

  3. I'd put moly grease on the spline when the sprockets off. Any movement will cause fretting (= wear) if unlubricated.

  4. Thanks all for your help. I was concerned about the sprocket and been able to move it.

  5. Hi all
I replaced my front and rear sprocket on the bike as they look wore but there
seems to be a clicking noise coming from the front sprocket and I’m wondering should I change my chain aswelll even though it looks clean and fresh?

I have adjusted the chain tension as per sticker on the swing arm.
