Having had my wheels powder coated red is there a specific set of rules or assemble for the fro wheels back onto the bike? Disks are all fine and bearings fitted but I am getting conflicting ways of doing up the pinch bolts or spindle first etc, anybody know the correct procedure? Thanks.
I think Reassemble - tighten to the correct torque the 2 pinch bolts on the non nut leg tighten the nut to the correct torque. Slacken the first 2 pinch bolts. Tighten them again (you allowed axle to slide in if needed. Re torque nut. Slacken first 2 pinch bolts again. Bounce Front suspension (wheel on ground) lift weight of the wheel again. Tighten the pinch bolts in a 121 to correct torq on both legs.
