Recommendations for a front wheel chock to transporting my bike (899) in a van and maybe the garage floor, Rich
Heavy Duty Front Motorbike | Bike | Motorcycle Wheel Chock Paddock Stay / Stand Ideal For Wheels Sized 15" - 18/Demon-Tweeks-Direct/Paddock-Stands Exige helped me with this
ive this one for transporting and support on floor https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Motorcyc...m=362303052867&_trksid=p2060778.c100290.m3507 And this bolted to the front of my lift, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Wheel-Ch...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649 Both are great and pretty well made
I have these on my trailer as recommended by @Android853sp I've spun the base/feet inwards so it fits in the runners better. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Wheel-choc...TEADYSTAND&dpPl=1&dpID=41avBtkPqmL&ref=plSrch
I fitted a pair of these https://www.acebikes.com/en/transport-service/steadystand-fixed/ on my 2 bike trailer about 4 years ago and I regularly trailer a Multistrada, a 1098R and a Diavel. Andy
I ended up replacing the existing runner with a car width one to carry the Diavel with its 240 rear tyre so didnt have that problem. Andy
I have one of these, expensive but very good. https://www.lasertools.co.uk/product/5671 Forgot to add, i have bolted it down to some 18mm ply and just screw the ply to the floor of my van, no need to strap the front of the bike, just strap from the footpegs.
Indeed, absolutely pointless spending any more - I use mine with handle bar straps and one strap on the rear wheel - I'll be bolting it to the bulkhead soon though for additional security... https://www.demon-tweeks.com/uk/warrior-wheel-chock-fits-12-19-inch-wheels-ubrpdschk15/
+1 for the acebikes one . I have one bolted to my trailer. I still use handlebar straps and a couple at the back too.
