Hi All I'm selling a pair of ART Pro Series II oval stainless steel race cans. I had these on my old first generation carburetted Monster 600. It is a common fitment for the 600, 750 and 900. They are in generally good condition with no accident damage, BUT the RHS can has two very small dents in it, one on the underside towards the front (kissed a paddock stand at some stage) and a small dent on the inner face. Neither is visible when the cans are fitted. There are some very minor marks from handling and storage, but nothing noticeable. I've given them a quick polish over and they came up great. They are are a 50 mm ID, straight-through race can, stamped Not for Road Use on the end cap, and are quite throaty in use. I never had a pull in the time I used them but I did pop the standard cans back on at MoT time! They added a little bit of performance (just generally a peppier feel and slightly more top end), plus weigh a lot less than standard cans (2.77 kg each, inc bracket). I didn't need to rejet when I fitted them, though there may be more gains to be had with a rejet and freer flowing air filter. They will have covered about 5,000 miles in use. I kept the when I sold the bike thinking that they would be ideal for the next Monster, but now I have a 900SS and am probably not likely to get another Monster. So they've just been taking up space in the loft and someone else cold be making use of them! They would be suitable for other bikes of similar age/layout to the Monster, but would require different link pipes (I tried them on the SS but the link pipe isn't right). Am looking for £150 + P&P (Parcelforce probably because they're reliable and don't damage/lose things unlike some others). Open to sensible offers. Drop me a message if interested. Cheers James
