Has anyone had issues with fuel gauge under reading. Filled tank up from 3/4 to brimming and the fuel gauge never changed nor did the distance left in tank on dash. Is this a fault or a quirk I'd just not noticed before. Also today when going over speed bumps at 20 the red circle on the small display kept flashing. Is that normal and what is it?
Fuel gauge is usually down to a sticking gauge mechanism, sometimes it 'fixes' itself sometimes it doesn't. Dealer can supply a new float or change, you can probably claim under warranty (if you still have one). Red light is the traction control kicking in as you went over the speed bumps.
Thanks wondered that. Still under warranty. Only 18 months old. Already had new coils, new exhaust and head removed due to studs snapping in the head when exhaust changed. Dealer loves me.
