Fuel Line Refitting

Discussion in 'Technical Help' started by bettes, Sep 22, 2017.

  1. evening

I'm trying to fit a fuel pressure sensor in one of the fuel lines between the pump and T piece to the Airbox. Is there a trick to refitting the tight inner pipe back onto the T piece or do I need to take it to a fuel, injection specialist to have it refitted?

    Cheers, ian

  2. Try warming it up with a hair drier and put a very light smear of Vaseline on the T piece

  3. Cheers, denzil. Will do. Tried with hot water but couldn't get it past the 2nd ridge on the T piece. I'll have a go now.

  4. Job jobbed. Cheers mate. :upyeah:
