Full Moon

  1. It'a a Full Moon tonight, according to my Google calendar, but I don't set much store by it Google is now my friend who specialises in being wrong. Google Calendar, Google Maps, and Google Shit (is that the name?) are all of questionable accuracy. Oh Yes, Google Weather was third in the non-usefulness stakes whilst first in the inaccuracy competition

But that is not the point of this. I am going to Exeter for a week next month, for no clear reason. And I've got an appointment with Co-Op Legal tomorrow. They came good at emailing me a copy of my will and they are going to do a Lasting Power of Attorney for me.

I am now keeping my Ford B-Max, so have booked its MoT for the day before I go to Exeter. It is allowed to fail (as it always does) because I am taking the train. Normally, the failure is the front brakes, so I don't know why this year should be any different. Although, after the last repair, everything feels good. Not that it ever felt bad before any of the failures, but this year, I feel God is on my side!

so, before my Exeter trip, I will find out where my missing millions have gone. Well maybe, but I don't have millions, anyway. I don't even have the twenty grand that I asked for. Being knocked off my bike has been a strange journey. The lows: having my driving license taken away, the pain, the uncertainty, the stupidity - like when walking to my nearby Co-Op and carrying back shopping it had to be done on a mobility chair, and the nightmares from brain damage. The Highs: Mr Zilch is in town!

I will try to make it to Spain next year - mebbe, mebbe, maybe. And the Orkney Isles.

  5. July's full moon will illuminate the night sky tomorrow evening. Known as the 'Buck Moon', it will be the seventh full moon of the year and follows on from June's incredible Strawberry Moon'.

  6. I learn much here. I can become an expert on mooning. And Keith Moon was good in The Who:thinkingface:
