Jeff green at g tech deserves a mention on here excellent customer service not badly priced and very enthusiastic about ducati's. Its nice to meet someone who does work for you to seem genuinely interested. Awesome quality of work too.
yep, top bloke is geoff......and good honest quality of work without the bull that some may try on you!
a place called stoke Albany between market harborough and corby......... jeff was the main man for moto cinelli (the previous incarnation of ducati UK) then was the workshop foreman at jhp before going independant. He is a genuine ducati workshop......and one of if not the most qualified ducati techs in the country!
i never realised that i know he's an authorised ducati workshop and his work carries a warrenty. he's got some lovely stuff for sale in the workshop too. tools and aftermarket bits. when i went up there he just got the kettle on went through what i wanted doing. we chatted about dukes and he never once gave me any bullmuck or the 'ooh, could be pricey mate' that i've come across before. he's a drive away from me, but i'll happily return to him. he's also given me some good advice over the phone. just a top bloke.
I do my own servicing now but have been to Gtech a few times and Jeff is a top bloke, you won't find a better or more helpful Ducati tech anywhere; 10/10.
If Jeff was with Moto Cinelli, would he know where the original boss of Moto Cinelli went? Hoss Elm was his name.... AL.
i bet if you went on to italiansportsbikeclub.co.uk a guy on there superlight3 would know the answer!
Cheers Andy..........Done some checking.........It's good to know he is still around......One of the nicest and most helpful blokes in the 80s for Guzzi stuff. AL.
Jeff Built one of my race engines for the 848 Challenge he know his stuff I would always recommend him to anyone and will use him for the panigale charges the right price and is never over the top like others
My 900ssie is currently with Jeff for its belt service and new chain and sprockets, he was recommended by other's so thought I'd give him a try. Only live about 3 miles from JHP myself but fancied a change this time. Came over as a thoroughly Nice chap gave me and my mate a coffee and helped us unload, showed us around and talked to us at length about some of his bikes. Waiting on the nod for collection and the bill with anticipation.
Picked up my bike today after its full service, very impressed ..... cant remember it ever running this well. Even with the new chain and sprockets the bill wasn't as harsh as I expected so well chuffed. Will definately use again
