Having bought the 748 I want to get the brakes serviced/checked which is just something I like to do when I've bought 2nd hand bike. I've found some Galfer HH pads from an E-Bay shop which are really competively priced but I have no knowledge of them. Just wondered if any members had any experience of them good, bad or indifferent. Give them a go and see what they are like. For that price you cant go too far wrong and a good seller too - recommended.
It might be worth checking where they fall in the Galfer range, I bought a set of P4/34 calipers that came with some Goldfren pads and after suffering severe brake fade on a track day I discovered that they were right at the end of the range on the low end. Having said that HH pads shouldn't be but it's worth checking, they might even be too hard for the road.
