Due to pick the diavel carbon red next friday. The garage are asking if I want GAP insurance and extended warranty for the bike. Question for you guys, would you think warranty extension is needed on a 2012 with 4k miles? Gap I'm unsure about. Like to hear you views. Ta
GAP insurance is something you will have to make your mind up about, but if you do decide to take it out call around for quotes. I have the idea that your dealer will not be the best price...
I did, happy I had it for the piece of mind. Yes it could of been spent on something else but as a safety measure it could/would serve a very important replacement issue.
The warranty will offer some peace of mind, just in case a component fails. The bike is 7 years old, after all. Just check the small print on the warranty so you understand what is covered.
