Afternoon all, due to left leg and foot problems I'm looking at bending my gear shift but don't know what it's made of, just need to bring it out a little.
Good old fashioned cast shit metal. You will need to heat it up, ideally a plumbers soldering gas torch, a hot air gun or drop it into boiling water. Apply even pressure but be gentle with it. A 10 degree bend should be easily achievable. Andy
It looks like it is cast to me...and that will break not bend. There are plenty of adjustables advertised for the Enduro model. That may be a better option for you to try and modify. The SW-Motech look expensive - but this may be a cheaper option https://www.aliexpress.com/i/33040009171.html Alternatively, remove the rubber and sleeve your original - although it may look a bit odd ?
