I was towed about 12 miles on an Italian autostrada when my 916 ran out of electric again. Oh how passing cars waved and cheered as they passed a shiney 916 Senna only for their smiles to wilt as they saw the luggage strap leading to the BMW GS. At one point whilst going up a steep hill my arm was forced through the screen with the strain. After the journey my hand was in tatters after having the strap wrapped around it for ages. Bit of a wobbly start as well i.e. Big tank slapped with alternate feet banging off the road.
Haha bloody hell mate! You should have put the strap around your waist, would have been right as rain!
It was, that's how the screen got trashed, my arm was pulled down through it. Have you ever dragged 250kg for 12 miles with a luggage strap wrapped round your wrist. It was Steely the old bubblehead Rasman on his Beemer.
