This is the problem with the Moped crime isn't it, i may be wrong but I'm sure I've read that the police are instructed to not pursue them due to the risk of the met being sued, which is probably why moped crime is spiralling out of control because they know they're likely to get away clean. I wonder what other EU countries do? Cant see the Italians sitting back just because someone is on a moped
Good work police. Moped and bike crime is completely out of control in London just now since the perpetrators know the police are worried about chasing since an accident a few years back when a known drug dealer 'accidentally' fell off his bike and the police are being put through the mill for it by the IPCC. Fortunately there seems to be some change afoot and a few more of these scum bags are hitting the tarmac lately.
article says they were not pursuing and the lids crashed into the back of the car - I see a few coppers getting a whiplash case on this! ;-) too many lids riding (probably stolen) bikes up this way, but by not wearing helmets they know that the police won't pursue. Maybe the new drone cops might come in useful for this (although not sure if the range of a drone would be enough to safely follow??) Pete

saturday 5.30pm earls court, driving with my bird to get to restarant on time. 4 of those cunts on 2 scooters (wearing those stupid fucking fake ears on the helmets) went on red through oncoming traffic, forced everyone to stop hard and when car infront of mine started to blow horn at them they made threatening gestures. total disregard for any laws. later i read that someone been robbed in chelsea same eve. someone is going to get killed soon. and not talking about this scum, talking about proper people. this human waste needs to be castrated so they dont reproduce and their parents needs to get their council flat to be taken away asap
So i read that most would be bike life employees when chased will deliberately remove their crash helmet (the reason they wear balaclavas) as when they do they'll then call of the chase....but otherwise well done to the copper for knocking the little cunts off...
