Hoping someone can point me in the right direction! I want to paint the white number board on the nose fairing of my 998 to replace the current sticker and match the monoposto seat unit which is painted! Does anyone know where find the pinstripe? Actually, not even sure it is a stick on pinstripe or if it is painted on!! Also, need the right paint color for the white to match the seat unit if anyone knows what it is? Cheers R
on the seat unit the stripe is actually a decal part i seem to remember but the DP nose cones number board were only ever a 1 piece stick on job which included the instripe (i could be wrong here mind) think its supposed to be dark silver on the 998 not gold (to match the frame colour) go speak to a good painter they should be able to colour match it
Thanks, think you are right about the colour, it should be a silver stripe but the bike came with the seat unit so I am stuck with the gold, it's qite a dark gold on the seat but the number board sticker is bright, garish gold!!
