Anybody on here got something similar to this guys wheels. Thinking about getting mine painted similar to try and tie in with some of the random gold bits on the bike.
Very nice! I don't have the gold frame like yours though i have the sort of gunmetal grey colour so i fancy something like what Andy has to mix in with the gold colour that is on the engine and on the edging of the front light.
Your always get a better finish with wet paint (if done properly). But it's not as durable as powder coating.
i had my Hyperstrada wheels powder coated . Two rears cracked and the front was as soft as cheese so had to be replaced too. I know there are a million arguments on the internet about powder coating not doing this but i sent my Enkie wheel back to Ducati ,who said they had failed due to the powder coat heat process. I had the replacement wheels painted and didn't have any further problems.
