  1. Its a wierd combo as it has the old style cans. By the time a 848 evo was out they were the slash cut cans.

Looks more like a early 1098/ 848 system to me. Make suer that ecu is correct by asking for the part numbers to verify its the real deal.

  2. ecu might be locked to original bike but theres people on here that can sort that or reflash to dp spec.

  3. didnt think the 848 ecu was linked to the bike in any way? Mine certainly wasnt .

  4. Neither was mine come to think of it.
Can't see a full system going for less than about £600 and the slash cuts, as said before, do look better. If they went for that price and I was in the market, I'd be very tempted. You could later sell the oval cans on and buy some slash cuts if you wanted. Only thing you have to do is weld the spring hooks on the insides of the link pipes.

  5. also the ad states 1098/1198.. I thought the header stud spacing was different between these models? so would fit only one model<

  6. 1198 is wider stud spacing. Not unusual for sellers to group (incorrectly) them together.,,:Bookworm:

  7. The auction went for £670.99 but I didn't bid.
Not a bad price someone got for a full system.

  8. Sold for £671,, just short of what new systems are!!

  9. New systems were loads more than £671. More like £2671

  10. IIRC the cans were about £1200 with the filter and ecu.

  11. Yeh sounds about right for cans and Ecu. And then I reckon it was same again for manifold

  12. Yes people do group them together, 1098 and 1198 headers are different sizes when it comes to the stud spacing
