Normally I'd be there, but fate has conspired against me. Have a great time. Supposed to be some great bikes there this year
Yep, I will be going Saturday. Then bike ride out on Sunday to Beaulieu on Sunday Have fun to all attending its totally sold out again this year. Should be a scorcher
If you see my brother in law Tom Seibert at the Ariel Atom stand, say hi for me. have a great time all.
Sunday for me, happy days. Who went to the first one,? no bales in the old days just some hi viz tape!!
Only been going 7 years - but boy - has it changed ! Very, very corporate now - and you can't even get close to any of the drivers/riders... unless you have 'inside info'... Shame really - but a massive success as an event
I dunno. Yesterday I spoke to all three of the famous names that I saw in the bike paddock - Kevin Schwantz, Tommy Hill and Hutchy
The Katoom sure is a 'Beast'. Lairy colour scheme aside it doesn't look too different to the old SuperDuke R though. I find it funny how it is attracting so much interest when the previous model didn't. I think KTM's marketing dept must be well happy No Ducati UK here though. Just some (very nice) privately owned bikes going up the hill.
Maybe Ducati needs their s&m advice - not sure their latest offerings are going to do much for anyone The KTM just looks like a load of giggles But a probable end to the SF and a water cooled monster that looks like a watered down Diavel ain't doing it for me
I got down there yesterday. The KTM was brilliant.....best wheelies by a mile ridden my Jeremy McWilliams. Loved seeing a Britten up close too....some amazing engineering going on there. Good to get up the top of the hill and see the likes of Ago, McGuiness, Hutchy, Lowes and Mamola although they didnt spend any time with the fans...more interested in getting into the shade and having a bottle of water.....can't say I blame them. If you're going, pack the suncream and get there early!! Like REALLY EARLY! It took 3 hours to get in from Southampton, leaving at 8. Theres a lot of parts on it (forks, brakes etc) that are pre-production and won't be the same spec as the production bike.
