Got a monoposto seat-unit on my 748!!

  1. Finally got a monoposto seat unit fitted to my 748 :biggrin:

    As you may know, they are getting like rocking horse shite to get hold of so it was a real lucky find so big thanks to Nick, a.k.a sheep911uk on DUN for selling it me!

    I had to glue the vents back in as Nick had removed them to give the thing a fresh coat of paint which took me 3+ hours as they just WOULD NOT stick. In the end I used double sided sticky tape and some strong glue over the top to stick them (fingers crossed). Which methods have worked well for any of you guys who have had to do this in the past?

  2. Like the wheelie bin in pic 2.Mono seats should be compulsory I reckon.Look loads better.Nice one

  4. Get a white numberboard plastered onto that bad boy. Will make it look 10 times better :D

    Have tried bathroom sealant on the vents?
     
  7. Hot plastic gun to hold mesh in vents.
     
  8. originals used Evostik or derivative (NOT the solvent-free version)
