GPS on a 1098

Discussion in 'Clothing, Gadgets & Equipment' started by apuhtred, Aug 4, 2012.

  1. Anyone fitted one and where did you fit it. Had it in the tank bag but not very good. Was thinking of fitting it with velcro in front of the clocks in a horizontal position. Also what do we think about bothering to pay all the extra for a Zumo. Can you not just weather proof a car one and get just the same results? I was thinking of just some cling film.

Quick before Duc Bird and Anth rob the thread.

  7. I've fitted a gps to my 1098 using an Ultimate Mobiles waterproof case, hardwire adaptor (to charge), an M8 bolt with 1" Ram mount ball and 3" Ram mount double ended adaptor. It sounds complicated but isnt', I'll upload some pics later.

  13. Got a walnut from christmas any good?
    :)

  14. Walnuts are always good.....especially on a walnut whip

  15. Had a leather whip once but never a walnut one. Do you recommend them?

    Regards Steve

  16. I wouldn't think a whip made from walnuts would be flexible enough to be that effective :frown:

Anyway....that's your thread ruined, good luck with your nuts

  17. Thanks mate. I knew I could rely on you. Found wire on the bay.
