I dunno, 400 quid for a brand new Ti silencer seems OK to me...

 

Get one made isn’t that difficult or expensive if you are ok with stainless

 

It'll blow itself to oblivion within a year anyway so why bother

 

What? I have an old used one on Franken9 which has been blatted around UK and European tracks for over a year now, and crashed a lot, and it's still just fine

 

I was being sarcastic Many of them have cracked, as you most likely know. Most of the ones I have seen for sale are cracked and/or repaired.

Yeah silencers and subframes are well known for cracking as we know. I make sure my subframe bolts are nice and tight and the same for the silencer mounts, I don't carry luggage and have a mono seat = no problems
