  1. So did the 2013-2014 Granturismo come with inner bags as standard?
They are missing on mine apparently.

i´m just curious because mine doesn´t have them and i read somewhere they are waterproof. So does the extra large luggage cases need waterproof inner bags?

  2. I think their just OEM Ducati pannier liners. They don't look waterproof. I have two sets with mine. I'll take a look in the morning to see:upyeah:
If your interested in buying a set PM me and I'll send some photos.

  3. I've got 2014 GT. Had it since January 2020.
Mine came with inner bags for both side panniers and top box. Although as per Tomo76 I would'nt say they're 100% waterproof.
PS: love the bike and now looking at chaging oil, filters etc as well as brake/clutch fluids as all now due to be replaced.
Doing it myself, as to tight to allow some youth crawl all over my bike.

  4. I had a 2013 1200S which came with the (huge) GT panniers. I purchased liner bags, simply as a means of making it easier to pack and unpack. It means you don't have to lug a bloody great pannier with you when you arrive.

I did several trips and never had any issues with weather getting in. I'd have to assume the panniers themselves are well sealed.

  5. If my memory hasn’t let me down (again), the liners were not standard on any of the OE touring panniers, certainly weren't on my 1200S Touring. The boxes had a reputation for leaking so they added the overcam secondary clips. Mine have leaked but only half a teaspoon which didn’t make it through the inner bags that I bought extra. Andy

  6. Out of curiosity, could you get bigger bags to fit the GT’s bigger panniers or were they just the standard pannier bags?

  7. The bags I had were extendable with a zip that would could undo to increase the size for the extra width of the GT panniers. Pretty sure they were only £50 ebay jobs, nothing fancy. Made a huge difference on ferries and going into hotels though - not having to carry panniers really is a big bonus.

  8. I bought some genuine Ducati Performance ones off eBay but they aren't expandable, they also don't seem to fit the pannier quite right and I've a feeling they are for 2015> panniers and I've a 2013 bike :confounded::joy:

  9. So much easier with the bags, get some, you won't regret it

  10. The hotels prefer it too if you don't dump your sopping wet and muddy pannier onto their cream carpet :joy:

  11. Mine are the GT ones which are expandable for the panniers. The topbox is standard size I think. Bloody handy to have.

  12. I guess it would be useful to have inner bags, but the ones i have seen so far wastes a lot of space, so for this summer i will test generic bags in ultra thin vinyl that can fill the side cases completely.

    Something like these: [IMG]

  13. I got the Held inner bags today. Packs to small size and they will also fit if i decide to get the 40 liter side case lids. Looks well made and being waterproof they are added insurance if there should be a leak.
