Greetings From South Australia

  1. Hi all, whilst I do live in Australia I am an English ex-Pat originally from Norfolk.
A month ago I decided to treat myself to a 2010/11 Hypermotard 1100 Evo after being away from bikes for 23 years, (my last bike being a new 748 SP and before that a 916 Monoposto). Over here it is winter so I’ve not actually bothered riding it yet - I’ve gone soft living here! The day I bought this, that afternoon after work I was planning to go and finalise a deal on a 939 HM but this popped up for sale that morning so went and looked at this first - it was as far as I got! Saw it, wanted it :D

The bike itself has only done 10,600km, and a previous owner has tricked it up quite a bit with various carbon bits, a full Termi 2-1 exhaust along with a PCV and tune.

  17. The Mini, R53, is my wife’s car and she lives that too - the Impreza STI is my other weekend toy.

  19. Very nice. Expect that'll feel a bit frisky after 23 years away!

Liking the Impreza too, I've had two classics, great cars.

  20. This is my second one; had an MY99 WRX for 15 years from new, sold it and ended up with this one, MY00 Ver 6 STI. Do not drive it very often, it’s my 4-wheeled toy
