I bought a 86 gixer who had it last MOT 1993.... The bike was just junk = A Challange The bike was stored in a warehouse for some years up at a shelving, but before that it was kept outdoor close to the Atlantic sea wiche mean it was a rustbucket.
Standing waiting for a friend and his lorry to pick up the bike I started a small inspection (without my glasses on, completely blurry ..). Suddenly I saw between the engine and the swing arm what I think of a piece of "cardboard", so I grabbed it with my fingers and tried to pull it out, when the cardboard turned around, I saw two eyes and whisker.UUUUUUUfff A 25cm RAT!
After the trauma I went stripping down to part the bike to have a look at the piece of crap I bought and of cause clean of the smell of the dead rats, I discovered it was the home for more then one rat, The bike had ratholes in the silencer, airbox and inside the seat.
After hi-pressure cleaning and liters of bleach and degreaser the Rat bike was getting nicer to work at
