Last June when I traded in my 3 bikes for a mint, year old BMW R1250RT, ready for my move to Spain, I had film protection and Gtechniq ceramic coating put on it. I rode it for the rest of the year and put it in a mate's garage until I collected it a few weeks ago. I rode it down to Cadiz province where I let it sit for a few weeks in the Andalucian sun, during which time it got a 2mm thick layer of pollen from the European pine trees down here. Gave it its first wash this morning and the dirt just fell off with only a spray down with a hose. I'm very impressed
