Having upgraded to M50 calipers (2010 MTS1200S) I'm finally getting around to fitting the matching 17RCS Master Cylinder. Or thought I was. Has anyone else done this and worked out how to refit the handguards? Apart from missing the threaded hole for the vertical securing screw, the MCs looked dimensionally similar. But I'm wrestling mightily with trying to refit the handguards. thanks…
I did some very careful trimming with a dremel and was able to fit a set of Hel master cylinders, I can't speak for the brembo but you may find you need to do similar. The lack of a top screw doesn't seem to have made much difference, I think I put some foam under it to stop it vibrating.

Success - don’t have a Dremel, so whittled away with a Stanley knife, files and wet’n’dry. Not too much blood was shed, and everything now fits nicely
