1200 Handlebar Flex

Discussion in 'Multistrada' started by Rebel, Dec 6, 2017.

  1. Had a bit of a worry on the multi today, surprised I'd never notice it before... I thought my handlebar were coming off/loose, about 18 miles from home or the garage I use...

Cut the story short they wasn't coming off or loose I didn't know about the rubber bungs between the risers n the yokes... The technician said yeah check that penny farthing of a BMW that flexi's as well, yes not as much the multi...

  2. I sometimes ride hard with knuckles white but my arms are always semi-relaxed. Sounds like you are fighting the machine rather than been in-tune with it. Back it down a notch my friend, its winter!

  3. I'd done a few hundred miles on my twin before I gave my mate go a on it, he came back and said he liked the bike but wasn't sure about the rubber mounted handlebars, I hadn't even noticed it had them

  6. When riding really hard like on track I have had them flex. Especially with aggressive bar input

  7. The buttons moving on your Playstation don't count Mr Marquez !! :D

  8. You need to ride quicker fella if yours doesn't do it...you know if you push the bar you can have a bit of corner speed, right? :p

  9. Oh Bradders, you are my hero... What a guy, what a rider !!! You're ace !! :D
