Interesting discussion re advertising on the site and the use of ad blockers. I find the adverts on the site irrelevant to me but I may be unique. Have you clicked on an ad on the site and bought anything (or anyone....you know those ads!)?

No, but a mate bought a 'success guaranteed' penis enlargement kit for just £5 after seeing an ad on another forum. What he received was a magnifying glass with the instructions: 'Do not use in direct sunlight'.
Kinda missing the point of a poll if it's linked to the donation thread. I believe cash is generated by showing the ad not by buying, therefore ad being shown is helping towards cost of running the site regardless of peoples purchases or not. Or am I wrong ? Personally I don't want to see ads but I do want the site to continue so if needed I'll donate rather than see them. (I run adblocker at the moment and don't donate)
No adds on tippy tappa talk - on Google it's always stuff I've been searching for - mostly new Daytona's - but I rarely use the pc for this site
I clicked on this ad because it had an article that looked interesting. Well, not this precise ad, but one from the same company. I was taken to a page that required me to become a member to view their site! WTF? Mad. So I emailed them to tell them that their ad campaign would be an expensive failure. There is something on this site that I would buy, but I can't see how they can send me anything and make any money. So it looks dodgy. So I haven't bought anything, unless someone tells me that they are on the level:
