Hi All, Need your help please, well, specifically anyone who has fitted the Healtech Quickshifter Easy to a DVT Multistrada. Santa Claus has very kindly dropped a new iQSE at my house and i've started to fit today, first removing the bodywork to access the connections, which i assume are under the tank....? I'm stuck as the loom provided isn't as per others i've fitted, as it does not connect directly to the top of the coils, instead connecting to the injector loom. Below is an image of the connector i suspect may be the one, but surely it cannot be this easy, i.e. only requiring removal of the seat.... And here is the same connector unplugged in comparison to the Healtech supplied loom..... Can any of you guys or girls confirm if this is the correct plug, or let me know where the correct one is located on the bike as i cannot find any reference to it anywhere on the web, nor Healtechs website. Thanks in advance Steve
Superb, thanks Hyper! Don't know how I missed this to be fair, but thank for pointing me in the right direction.
Will do, going to get it fitted today, but the iQSE app is not available on the app store at the moment? I've emailed Healtech and will keep you posted once up and running. Steve
Soloman, the app is in beta so you will have to download from the apple store their app "test flight" which has a 3 blade propellor sign. You should then receive an e-mail from the i-tunes store inviting you to download the healtech app. If there is a delay due to holidays you can still complete the installation but use the jumper cable provided in the control unit end of the cable going to the INJ connector. This just disable the QS. Re the INJ connector. Its attached to the frame under the tank so you need a right angle spring hook to get behind and press the release so you can pull the connector out, unplug male to female and introduce the QS cable. Otherwise its a tank off job. feel free to PM me if u need any help. Cheers Pete
Thanks Pete, yeah, I can see the connector, just above the other two 6 pin connectors, I'll get on it. TestFlight! That explains why I can't find it then, although my experience of this, when testing the Mulitstrada Link app, is that you have to be invited by the developer to test? I've email Healtech, and yes, they're closed until the 4th, so will fit and jumper accordingly while I await their response. Thanks for the offer of assistance, I may well take you up on that.... Steve
Pete, Just got the invite through from Norbert @ Healtech so it's all systems go now. Will get the fitting finished off tomorrow and let you know how it goes. Steve
Thanks for that Pete. Fitted, set up, and a quick run up the road to test completed. I'll play more later in the week as weather is supposed to improve, but for now, at least it's on and it works! I took the tank cover off in the end, took out the 2 bolts holding the tank in place and raised it a little as I couldn't get that pesky little clip retaining the plug to release! I'll update your original post with my alternative method later on, I've took some pics for others to use if they wish so may be helpful. Thanks for your help mate.
