In a "For Sale" thread (https://www.ducatiforum.co.uk/threads/959-healtech-servo-eliminator.84496/#post-1807791) @bettes has a Healtech servo eliminator for sale. Rather than hijack his thread any more, I was wondering what advantage was to be gained by fitting said device especially if the servo and valve are left in place? More performance? More noise?
The EXBV is there to comply with noise regs. Some will say it assists performance but my opinion is it is an emissions device. By fitting this the valve motor and cables can be junked. There will be no Mil on the dash as the device fools the ECU into identifying the motor is present. The EXBV is held in the open position by the spring but can also be lock wired. An added benefit is no Mils due to the EXBV failing due to corrosion.
