Help!! Corrosion

  1. Bike laid up for the winter now and has been for the last three weeks. The problem is the disc`s are already starting to brown over and i dont know the best way to prevent it without blashing them with all sorts of oily stuff.
    Sadly my garage is`unt the best with water running across the floor when it rains and with it being cold and damp the bike sits there with condensation on it all the time, this i can sort but what about the disc`s !?!
     
  2. You can remove the pads then spray them up with wd40 or similar . Before use, fully degrease with brake cleaner, very thoroughly mind, then put pads back in. .
     
  3. I would remove the discs completely and store in the house away from moisture, refit the wheel so the bike is still mobile (put a couple of pieces of wood in between the caliper pads though).....
