Each to their own as ever, ok, this is a specialist and so isn't a like-for-like comparison, but this bloke knocks spots off him with his presenting manner as far as i'm concerned and this is how you do it 'Enry:- (not sure about the R1 bit)
Henry Cole always comes across as somebody who doesn't really know what he's talking about. May be it's an act - or maybe he really doesn't know. Waffling, blithering, and hyperbole are his stock in trade. A bit like Boris J really.
I’m just happy there’s bikes on tv tbh. I like Henry. I’ve met him a few times, nice guy. He went to Eton which leaves it’s mark on most.
I spent 2 days with Henry whilst filming for some of the Ducati programme. A nice guy, an enthusiast who just wants to get bikes on TV. Unfortunately he has to cram everything in and dumb it down to sell it to the TV companies. I get that not everyone likes him. It's the nature of life. It would be boring if we all liked the same things and theres always the off button. His biography is worth a read. It changed my opinion.
I’m the first to admit that you don’t need to be Rossi to admire/enjoy/be passionate and talk about motorcycles But yes. He is rather pedestrian the boy
Cole is a throbber. that has no subject knowledge and is really poor on TV A bit like the entire Labour opposition really
I find him hard work. BUT he seems an alright guy, we get the bonus of motorcycles on the telly. So back on thread, did he vote Brexit?
